 Agile Project Management Methods
As explained in your textbook, the general Agile approach to project management has been realized by at least these four methodologies: SCRUM, XP, Crystal Family, and Kanban. Using the Internet and the Ashford Library, along with Tables 1.3 and 1.4 in your textbook, research the SCRUM method. Then, compare and contrast it with one of the other three methods (XP, Crystal Family, or Kanban). Finally, provide an example or a scenario of how each method could be applied in a previous or current working environment. This must be a minimum of 300 words.

Traditional vs. Agile Project Management
Write a paper in which you compare and contrast the traditional (waterfall) project management practices with the new Agile project management practices. Specifically, address each one of these management issues and explain, with examples, how they are handled in the traditional and agile management practices:

Managing scope and requirements
Managing schedule and cost
Managing project execution
Managing risk and quality

The Paper:

Must be 900 (3-4 pages) in length (not including title and references pages) and formatted according to APA style as outlined in the  Writing Center (Links to an external site.).
Must use contextual (Level One) headings to organize your paper and your thoughts.
Must include a separate title page with the following:

Title of paper
Student’s name
Course name and number
Instructor’s name
Date submitted

Must use at least 2 scholarly sources from the Online Library in addition to the course text.

SCRUM Project, Part 1: Setting up a VSO Account
Prior to beginning work on this assignment, watch the Getting Started With Visual Studio Online (VSO) Using SCRUM (Links to an external site.) video. This will provide you with step-by-step instructions for completing this assignment.
In this course, you will be asked to create and manage a software development project of your choice using the SCRUM agile method. This project will involve a series of activities over Weeks 1-5, and will culminate in a final evaluation and applicability of Agile methods to organizational practices in Week 6.
We will use an online SCRUM tool for this purpose. This tool is the free Microsoft Visual Studio Online (VSO) (Links to an external site.).
The details and requirements of the course-wide project will be given in Week 2.
For this first week, start by creating your own VSO account to get familiar with the tool. You will use this account throughout the course. You can refer to the video, resources, and references in the weekly lecture for how to create an account on Visual Studio Online and how to create your very first project.
Once you have created your VSO account, take a screenshot of your URL and upload it to the assignment basket. In addition, add your instructor as a team member to your project

The assignment:
