Class HSM/270 – Grant proposal writing and Evaluations in the Human Service Field

Programs must consider the needs or expectations of many stakeholders, including the program administrator and staff, the funding institution, and the community the program serves. In any human services program, one of the most influential stakeholders is the funding institution. The funding institution often has its own expectations for the program and its evaluation. How do the needs and expectations of stakeholders influence your program plan? Address this question from the different perspective of each stakeholder. Describe how will you determine where compromises must be made and how those compromises might occur? Identify a funding institution that works with human service organizations and explain its expectations for evaluation. How could these expectations influence the program or evaluation plans? (My Program Plan is scenario 5 in the attached appendix b)
