Assignment: Enhancing Your Plan for Assessment, Part 2
Last week, you determined how you could expand or extend the assessment methods in your learning plan from EDUC 6757 and 6758 to better meet the needs of diverse learners. This week, you will consider different goals for grading and choose a grading model for your learning plan. Use ideas from the chapter in Walvoord and Anderson’s Effective Grading: A Tool for Learning and Assessment in College (2011) to guide your work.
Write a paper describing the goals you want your grading system to achieve and choose an appropriate grading model. You may choose one presented in the readings or modify one according to your needs. Describe how your chosen grading model addresses your grading goals, and will support student motivation and learning.
Combine your Week 3 Assignment with your Week 2 Assignment and submit both together.
