The Internship program has been conducted In FIX Bank Ltd. En of the reputed third generation banks in the growing banking sector in Bangladesh. This report on credit policy and credit risk of FIX Bank limited: A study on FIX has been prepared under the guidance, supervision and inspiration Shasta S. Cutie. Moreover, while preparing the report the writer was under the supervision and guidance of Mr.. Harlan Ar Rasher Manager of FIX Bank Limited Awkward Bazaar Branch. 1. 2 Scope and limitation of the Study: Every academic and professional relative research and report work has got some scopes and limitations.
Limitations: I have tried my best to provide with all necessary information about FIX Bank Limited but the main problem faced in preparing the paper was the inadequacy and lack of availability of required data. But there is some limitation for preparing this report. These barriers, which hinder my work, are as follows a) Difficulty in accessing latest data of internal operations for data security. (b) Non- availability of some preceding and latest data. (c) Some information was withheld to retain the confidentiality of the bank. D) Since the bank personnel are very busy with their activities, as a result they were unable to provide much information about the report. (e) I was placed to this department for only 1 months of time and working like a regular employee hindered the opportunity to put the better effort for the study. With all of this limitation I tried my best to make this report as best as possible. So adders are requested to consider these limitations while reading and Justifying any part of my study. 1. 3 Objective of the Report: Broad Objective: To acquire knowledge about credit policy and Credit Risk.
This study will include both quantitative and qualitative data. However, this report will basically qualitative in nature. Data Sources: To carry out the proposed study, I will utilize both primary and secondary data sources. Primary Data Sources: For the proposed study, I will collect primary data by taking interviews of some bank officials in order to get the information regarding foreign exchange services as well as the real picture of the bank. Secondary Data Sources: I will collect the internal secondary data from the bank itself. External secondary data will be collected from the website of the bank.

Chapter 02 Organizational Profile Review 2. 1 Background of FIX Bank Limited: International Finance Investment and Commerce Bank Limited (FIX Bank) is banking company incorporated in the People’s Republic of Bangladesh with limited liability. It was set up at the instance of the Government in 1976 as a Joint venture between the Government of Bangladesh and sponsors in the private sector with the objective of irking as a finance company within the country and setting up Joint venture banks/ financial institutions aboard. In 1983 when the Government allowed banks in the private sector, FIX was converted into a fully fledged commercial bank.
