Constructivism is the foundation for the teacher education program.  It is vital that you are knowledgeable about the major theories of child development that relate to constructivist teaching.  

You will submit a journal with the key elements of the theories of Piaget and Vygotsky.  You should use information from your textbook, video clips,  but you should use your own words.

4. What are the major differences between the theories of Piaget and Vygotsky?  

5. If you were asked to describe constructivist teaching in a job interview, what would you say? How would you become a constructivist teacher?
