Module 03 Project – Fixed and Variable Costs

 
In a 4-5 page paper, please provide the following:

Define absorption and variable costing and discuss its effects on production.
Choose a manufacturing company (this should be different than your accounting project company) and research the possible effects of absorption and variable costing on that company.
Provide 3-4 examples that support your research and the effects of these costing methods.
Be sure that the paper has no spelling or grammatical errors.

I put the first two papers below,  also he added a note that I need incorporated.. he stated.  For paper 1 he said, Your paper was over a page long and was APA style. You picked a public manufacture company and talked about the two elements of planning and decision making. You lost 12 points due to not mentioning or talking about control and thought you could have done a better job on decision making. There are elements of decision making but not enough to get full credit.
For paper 2 he wrote,  
In the future if you could tell me your company again and relate the costing to them. I am not sure the two methods you mention and the example relate to your company or not. The examples if you gave are correct for both process and job ordering. I took off 15 points for is the costing method appropriate. I think everything else is there but I thought you could have explained that a more fully.
