Scenario: Suppose you were the director of a childcare program and the parents of four-year-old Alex, who has mild Down syndrome, want to enroll him in your childcare program. How would you respond to Alex’s parents? What would you do to prepare yourself for including Alex? The staff? The children? Write an essay based on your experiences about how you can accommodate diverse learners in your childcare program.

Your essay should be no less than 3 paragraphs and each paragraph should include at least 5-8 sentences. You may use information that you may find on the internet or in the textbook to support your essay BUT be sure to cite where the information was found.
