Discussion provides a forum for students to ask questions and answer important questions about the course material. The discussion questions also allow students to receive feedback from the instructor and other students in the class. Please address both of the following prompts.

1. In this course, ethics theorists are divided into those who take a global view of ethics and those who take a personal view. Think about your role as an administrator. Will you use any of these theorists in making decisions? Which ones will be the most helpful? Why?
2. As a healthcare professional, you should be aware that employers, fellow professionals and the community expect high levels of personal and professional ethics. What is your working definition of ethics? Why does a healthcare administrator need a foundation in ethics theory to be effective?
