PLEASE READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS VERY CAREFULLY.
Please include only ONE Table of Contents.
You are putting together your final strategic. Think of it this way…you are going to present your strategic plan to investors to encourage them to invest in your company. You want it to look very professional.
Include an Executive Summary at the beginning of your strategic plan.
Resources: Vision statement, mission statement, values, SWOTT analysis, balanced scorecards, and communication plan (you can use the information from your previous papers…don’t just copy the entire papers but take out the part you need. You will also need to use the Communication Plan from your Week 4 Team Assignment…completed for YOUR company)
NEW MATERIAL
Write a 700- to 1,050-word section for your strategic plan in which you add your strategies and tactics to implement and realize your strategic objectives, measures, and targets. Include marketing and information technology strategies and tactics.
Develop at least three methods to monitor and control your proposed strategic plan, being sure to analyze how the measures will advance organizational goals financially and operationally. Finally, recommend actions needed to address ethical, legal, and regulatory issues faced by the organization, and how they can improve corporate citizenship. These sections should go at the end of your paper.
Combine your completed strategic plan. This includes the vision, mission, values, SWOTT analysis, balanced scorecard, and communication plan from previous papers….PLUS the new material. Your consolidated final strategic plan should be 3,000 to 5,000 words in length.
Write an EXECUTIVE SUMMARY to include at the beginning of your strategic. You will find instructions on writing an executive summary in your reading materials.
*** So let me break this down a bit for you. You can take the information from your previous papers (with the corrections or course ) (that’s the “combine your completed strategic plan” part…however you don’t want to include the intro and conclusion (etc.) from the other papers…so not all of the other stuff from your previous papers…just information about the main topics and how they apply to your business. You only need to describe your business to me once). Then you will write the 700-1050 wordsection(s)…that includes the new material.
So…one more time…include your mission, vision, values from WK 1…the SWOTT analysis of YOUR business (what are your strength/weaknesses/opportunities/threats/trends that affect your business…and you SWOTT table)…the balanced scorecard that discusses your objectives (and your balanced scorecard table), and your communication plan (which you should start by using your generic communications template from your team assignment…but make it specific to your business) . You are going from the highest level (mission/vision/values) to the lowest level (objectives and how to communicate them…specific marketing/technology plan…).
