As it states in the guidelines for the second paper (linked below), your paper should be an essay that makes an argument and incorporates sources. The general topic of the paper relates to political correctness and speech codes, but it is up to you to decide exactly what argument you would like to make about that general topic, and that argument should take the form of a thesis statement. Below, I have included a document with general information on constructing thesis statements, and it also includes specific information on writing argumentative thesis statements. Please read it carefully. For next week, I would like you to have an idea of what topic you would like to write about and even a tentative thesis statement.  – note the resources subpage linked below. I am including a number of articles you can use in for your papers (although you are free to include other articles as well).
