DB Board and reply

  Each thread must be 500 words, cite 2 scholarly articles, and incorporate ideas and citations from all of the required readings and presentations for the assigned module/week in addition to Biblical integration. In addition to the thread, the student must reply to at least 2 other classmates’ threads. Each reply must be 250 words and include citations from at least 1 scholarly sources. Each thread and reply must follow current APA format. 
Using the required reading and presentations, as well as additional research, discuss the following:

The role of a purpose statement and research questions, and the interrelationship between the two
A definition of dependability/reliability, validity/credibility, and the transferability/generalizability for qualitative data as applied in their own qualitative research study proposal.

 Identifying a problem is the foundation of every research project. Thus, envisioning the problem with clarity to state it in precise and succinct terms is the first step in developing a research question. According to Delois, (1992), knowing where to look for researchable problems is essential to the above-mentioned process 
  
•Ask no more than five to seven sub-questions in addition to your central questions. Relate the central research question to the specific qualitative strategy of inquiry. In critical ethnography, the research questions may build on a body of existing literature. These questions will become working guidelines rather than proven truth (Creswell & Creswell, 2018). 
•In case study research, the questions may address a description of the case and themes that emerge from studying such case. Research questions that begin with words such as ‘what’ or ‘how’ provide an open and emerging design. According to Creswell (2014), the word ‘why’ often implies that the researcher is trying to explain rather than explore and explaining a cause effect is not associated with qualitative research.
