This model focuses on the attitudes, knowledge, and behaviors or concerns of students(Evens, Forney, Guido, Patton, and Renn, 2010). This model covers the most important aspects of assisting students in meeting their goals. You start by getting to know the student then you focus on their concerns. The main objective of student affair professionals is to help students to reach their goal and these are the most important aspects to assure student success.

The Theory of Model of Multiple Dimensions of Identity offers a direct correlation to how intersecting identity traits surrounds the core identity that the individual represents (Jones & McEwen, 2000). This model stresses that fact that identity is both internally constructed by the person and externally constructed by outside people.
