Some states have reacted to overcrowded facilities by releasing inmates into the community early. What are your thoughts on this? Should inmates be released simply due to crowded facilities; why, or why not? Should other factors be considered as well? If yes, what are they? How could early release affect the paroling authorities?

In my opinion, I suppose some states reacted overcrowded facilities released inmates early into the community because jails always release low-level criminals to control population there is nothing new or more dangerous about that. Look what is happening right now as well inmates are being released due to pandemic Covid19. I am sure inmates like it.  
What can you do it is up to the government so for me it disappointing I hate to use the word, but it sucks? The fact this attracts little attention is an indication of the fundamentally cruel nature of a system that enables the majority to think prisoners brought it on themselves and the elderly have lived their lives anyway. One thing for sure I hope not but no murders or sex-offender same goes for home invasion gangs are being released doing so that idea is based on stupidity.
Almost always early release does affect paroling authorities because it is more like a risk. Has the offender learned their lesson while incarcerated? Only time will tell but we must give then benefit of doubt if not then offender best way to say fall into the cracks of the system. For any patrolling officer it is important for supervision. You must as well monitor the offender to certain extent after confinement. The offender must complete the sentence imposed by way of early release in the firm of parole. I believe public safety comes first. Some men and women experience a form of a cultural shock after being absent from society. Some cope with drugs, alcohol, new offenses. Release is an individualistic thing. I have to say it is a tough job, but somebody must do it.
