University has chosen to use American Psychological Association (APA) format to document in-text citations and references. It is vitally important for students to adapt and adhere to the APA format to ensure academic integrity. It’s important to learn and utilize proper APA formatting because of the structure a paper should written and give credit to the sources used in that format.  requires APA format to be done with integrity and hard work. If a paper is submitted or written using someone else’s work or even words directly without giving credit is considered plagiarism. When you learn how to use the proper format for the APA it helps you become a good writer and write papers that are able to be understood and evaluated based on good merit. Its also important to learn it because  has a strict no plagiarism policy, which can result in failing course or even expulsion.
