This week’s lab activities pertain to taxonomy and classification. For this week’s discussion, I would like for you to try to identify an example in your every day life or work life in which you utilize a hierarchical classification system. Describe this system in your personal response, explain how it is beneficial, and how it compares to the classification system you are studying in lab this week. In your personal response, summarize the development, how the scientific method was involved, and how you think the development is relevant to your life or to human life in general.
