Determining Financial Viability

 
Write a paper (750-1,000 words) that explains the relationship between finance and accounting, and how they operate to determine financial viability within a health care organization.
Prepare this assignment according to the guidelines found in the GCU Style Guide, located in the Student Success Center.

Provide a definition, based on your text reading, of finance and accounting; and explain how they operate separately, with particular attention to supportive examples in health care, and identification of the kinds of reports they each generate.
Then explain how they function together and how each department assists each other in ensuring that the health care entity meets their financial goals. Provide specific health care examples using the text reading and your research to demonstrate your understanding of how they operate and function.
Make sure to provide an introduction overview that identifies the topic and goals for your paper. This way the reader knows what you are talking about and why.
Cite source material used not just for directly quoted material, but for any material that is not your original thoughts. These citations then become the references you list on the reference page. Do not overuse directly quoted material. Check quotes in your Lopes Write to ensure that you are only using about 20% or below of directly cited material, i.e. quoted material.
Check your paper for grammar and make sure not to use we and I in your papers.
