Pre-information: Use the following instructions to provide feedback, which you will post in the Peer Review discussion this week. This discussion is graded according to a specific rubric that is different from a standard discussion rubric.

• Download the Peer Review: Assignment 1 Template [PDF] for each your peer’s work you are reviewing, and give each file a unique name (e.g., Review for Tom_10-01-19). Write your review directly in the template. When completed, save your feedback so that you can share it with your peers.
• Read your peers’ Project Analysis and Instructional Objectives assignments posted in the Peer Review discussion this week, and determine whether each of the assignment criteria is “Met” or “Unmet.” Place an X in the corresponding box in the template.
• Provide an explanation of your determination related to each criterion in the Rationale column, and add any specific suggestions for improvement in the Suggestions column.
• Use the Additional Feedback area of the review to offer your peers your thoughts about the strengths and any areas for improvement related to the assignment.
• Use a positive and helpful tone without bias or judgment when writing suggestions and feedback.
• Post the final peer review(s) in the specific Peer Review discussion area and then monitor the discussion so that you might answer any clarifying questions posed by your peers related to your feedback.

Assignment: As an educator, you will be asked to collaborate with your colleagues regularly. This peer review is an opportunity for you to practice reviewing another colleague’s work and providing helpful feedback so that they can improve professionally and provide a quality product for their students or clients. Post early to this discussion, and remember that it is important to be a reliable colleague and professional who manages their time in a way that can help the whole group or team be successful.
