1: From what I have read, I believe there are five main parts of a TCP/IP plan. The first part is figuring what your TCP/IP network is going to look like and be composed of. There are different kinds of networks, network medias, and network topologies. You need to figure out which ones you are going to use as well as figuring out a number of other things. The second part is setting up a network addressing scheme. Each computer needs an IP address and you need a central server to give them out. For extra security, you can have the IP addresses changed on a regular basis by the central server.You need to make sure each computer gets a suitable IP address. The third part is giving names to the devices of your network. The devices do not only need IP addresses but also names. Giving names to the devices makes it much easier for us humans to find a particular device. The IP address is for the other devices to be able to find a certain device, and the name is for the users to be able to find a certain device. The fourth part is registering your network with InterNIC. InterNIC gives you a network number as well as allowing you to register your domain name so that you are able to connect to or communicate with other TCP/IP networks. The fifth part which is not exactly necessary but still important is adding routers. Routers help you connect your network to another one. Depending on your network’s topology you also might be in need of a router or routers.
