This course at the graduate level addresses the Capstone project,
INTRODUCTION, Introduction to the Problem, Background of the Study, Statement of the Problem, Significance of the Study, Purpose of the Study, Rationale, Theoretical Framework of the Study, Research Questions and/or Hypotheses, Study Variables’, Definition of Terms, Assumptions and Limitations, Nature of the Study, Organization of the Remainder of the Study, CHAPTER 2.  LITERATURE REVIEW, CHAPTER 3.  METHODOLOGY from both a qualitative and quantitative point of view. This discussions question will revisit these components of a Capstone project, and asks you to address the topics in communication Capstone project research (before beginning this assignment, you may wish to review Lune, H & Berg, B., 2017). This approach has the goal to increase our knowledge and understanding.
This discussion provides an opportunity to explore different topics for research and the different ways in which the research can be defined and completed.  This discussion also sets the stage for your final assignment in this course, which addresses qualitative studies.  In the final exercise, you will be asked to develop a proposal for a qualitative study.  Please follow the template on the announcement I posted.
For this week’s discussion, identify a Capstone communication research title that is of interest to you and do the following:
State the research title or problem and write a brief summary of the title and why you are interested in the title.
Write a purpose statements for the research topic:Write one qualitative purpose statement.
Write two research questions that address the research purposes:Write one qualitative question that addresses the qualitative research purpose. .
Identify identify the purposeful sample you will be researching in the qualitative approach
