In my case study analysis, I am confident that the issues in higher education is becoming more rampant and there is a need to address it as soon as possible. Since the society and higher institutions are the major stakeholders in the issues, I think that they need to come together and address the issues at hand.  In my view, the society is to be highly blamed for the issue happening in higher education since education is offered to meet the demands of the society. When the society shifts their focus to demanding professionals to meet the growing market demand, higher education institutions are forced to meet this demand by structuring their educational curriculum.

I somewhat fully agree with your statement above. In my analysis, I did view society as a major stakeholder because they are the realm that truly controls and monitors the market, needs, and demands. Many higher education institutions are being forced to meet the financial and output demands of society and that is not fair at all because it can take away from the original foundation of the purpose of higher education. What options does an institution have when the community/society will not or refuses to meet them half way in these efforts?

I’m hoping you could help me understand your position? You reference “issues” that are becoming “rampant” which need to be addressed. What specific issues are you referring to?  While you may be correct in implying that educational issues are something that impacts all stakeholders and is something that they all should take interest in, but what specifically is the role of this task force? What recommendation do you make in your analysis to the question of them maintaining their current focus or adding technical and professional options? I look forward to your response.
