Your research paper assignment is to research and explain how Information Technology (IT) promotes getting people who are affected by policies to involve in the policy-making process. You may choose a specific policy area or an issue, describe the nature of the policy, any social aspects involved and identify how particular tools and technologies can be used to engage the people involved in the policy-making process.
Review the above prompt for your final project and identify a topic for your research paper by working with your group members. Your topic must be research-based and should include a minimum of 6 references out of which 4 must be peer-reviewed. You may use and share the resources identified in your Annotated Bibliography.  
Use the attached Research Project Draft Template to review the requirements complete the activity for Friday, September 21st. Submit the form to iLearn for your professor for approval of the topic.

This assignment is a group project. You will be working with the group members to complete this task. Here are a few details about the overall research paper.
You must reference four (4) peer-reviewed articles or papers that support your thesis statement. You may use the resources from the annotated bibliography assignment. The final paper must be at least 1500 words in length. (DO NOT exceed 1700 words by a material amount).
