Week 5 Discussion
Planning an SDLC (Systems Development Life Cycle) and planning for a GIS (Global Information System) both require phase by phase steps. The steps for each require planning, analysis of tasks involved, designing and implementing and maintaining the structure. There are obstacles and challenges peculiar to both, and must be addressed on a continual basis. View the videos provided and explain in no less than 250 words how the 2 plans/phases differ, what the commonalities are between the two types of tasks and how your company/organization is addressing them from a management perspective.
