Persuasive Speech Topics Specific Purpose: To persuade my audience that there is a necessity for Americans to become bilingual. America has become a bilingual nation since a numerous population of Hipics have been immigrating to the country. Since the population of Hipics immigrants is large, Spanish has become American’s second language therefore many companies have Spanish speakers that are able to provide a better customer service. I would like to speak about this topic because as a native Spanish speaker and I can relate to it.
I can persuade people to learn a new language and show them the advantages it can bring to their lives. And also show them how important knowing a second language can be. The lack of sexual education is affecting our community making young girls vulnerable to being pregnant.
Julie Atkins, mother of three girls aged 12, 14, and 16 who became pregnant, blamed the school that the lack of sex education make her daughters ignorant of how to use protection. I want to speak about this topic because this is affecting our society greatly. The number of teenager’s pregnancy is increasing every day making the lives of many girls difficult. I believe that people, especially teenagers should be taught how to use protection in school so they won’t have to go through the hardship of having to raise a child at their young age. Ford, Liz.

I truly believe that Obama has done more for the LGBT community than any other president in the US. I would love to speak about this topic because it involves me and I would like to persuade my audience to vote for him and show them the great president he is and all the things he has done for Americans but especially for the LGBT community.
