PowerPoint Requirements

Length: 23 to 25 slides (excluding the cover slide and the reference slide).
Design:

Do not to overcrowd your slides with information.
Be thorough, but also be concise.
Use bullet points to highlight main points.
Your ideas must flow logically, and your points should be presented in a consistent format.
Check your spelling and use standard American English.
If you use graphics, be sure to condense them, so your presentation is not too large.
If you use many photos, save your file in two parts and submit separately.

Mechanics:

PowerPoint does not require that you write full sentences or paragraphs; in fact, this will detract from your presentation.

If you would like to include a video (YouTube), save on an individual slide and submit separately
You should consult at least three (3) SCHOLARLY sources in preparing your presentation. Your last slide should be a References slide following APA format.
Must be saved as a ppt or pptx format.
Must be submitted via dropbox “Attach Files” box.
Must be submitted through SafeAssign. (I will not accept assignments not submitted this way.)
Do not copy and paste from the Internet. Plagiarizing will result in a zero (0).
Assignments with more than 25% similarity will not be accepted (excluding references and direct [cited] quotes).

You are making a presentation to a group of law enforcement officers.  Your objective is to inform the LEOs of the extent of the problem facing law enforcement in regard to domestic terrorism and what they can do to secure their relative communities.

You will use a PowerPoint presentation to discuss the issue.

Content Requirements:

Include the following:

Briefly describe the nature of the problem. (Carefully analyze the problem: myths vs. facts.)
Discuss the history of the problem.
Describe the extent of the problem/issue. (Are citizens/businesses at risk?)
Use at least two actual examples/cases to illustrate the problem.
What are the best practices to detect offenders/potential offenders/attacks?
What are some of the problems faced by local law enforcement? 
What infrastructure protection is needed?

Infrastructure is the basic physical and organizational structures and facilities (e.g., buildings, roads, and power supplies) needed for the operation of a society or enterprise.

What are some recommended long-term solutions?
Any other items of interest to law enforcement.

Do not base your position on personal opinion.
The audience members should leave your presentation feeling more informed.
Use research and statistics to support your position.
