You will take your goals and gap analysis and ground them in research of core competencies. In other words, for the position identified in your Unit 4 Professional Path Project – Goals and Gap Analysis assignment in link below, you will research the core competencies relevant to that position. Use your theorists’ articles, glossary, professional organizations, and independent research to identify core competencies. By researching core competencies, you can begin to see the criticality between the knowledge, skills, and dispositions you currently possess (and do not possess) to what the industry says you should possess. In this way, you can prioritize your goals and objectives, thereby creating an action plan that is aligned, relevant, and realistic.
