Thinking Ahead to Your Persuasive Speech

 I need a response to the discussion below, the response should be 150 word count minimum and should expand the conversation not just agree. I also need it to be in APA format including in-text citations and references.

      
I am going to do my persuasive  speech on the effectiveness of medical marijuana and why I feel it  should be legal in all 50 states. When It comes to the use of marijuana,  I am all for it for the simple reason that it works. I have witnessed  my nephew who has seizures go from convulsing inconsolably, to  immediately stopping once the oil has touched his tongue.
When looking at the Monroe motivational sequence outline, I  am  confidant it will help me stay on track and really amazing my audience  with a lot of evidence backing up my topic.
Many people don’t realize the benefits of medical marijuana, they  only see this as a drug, a dependent. But really its not, it’s a  medicine to help cancer patients and those with chronic pain. When using  the Monroe motivational sequence, I will be able to give a lot of  evidence to back up my claims. Good speeches are not composed of hot air  and generalizations. They need strong supporting materials to bolster  the speakers point of view. ( Lucas, 2015)
With the Monroe motivational sequence I will be able to give many  examples on how medical marijuana has worked for people in the past.  Cancer is very much real and I have seen many people who I love suffer  from cancer. I have also seen the difference it has made in someone’s  life.
I am very excited to begin working on my speeching. Using the Monroe  motivational sequence can really help in properly preparing my speech  and making sure i have all the information i need to make my speech  successful.
