Week 9: Discussion: Color Theory

Kirk (2016) states that the topic of color can be a minefield.  The judgment involved with selecting the right amount of color for a particular application can be daunting.

Using the book companion site only to select the figures, use the list provided below of figures and select two for this discussion.  List the figure number and title and provide the responses to the three items below for each figure separately.

 How suitable are the choices and deployment of these colors? If they are not, what do you think they should have been?
Go through the set of ‘Influencing factors’ from the latter section of the book’s chapter to help shape your assessment and provide how you tackle this design layer differently.
Considering the range of potential applications of color, what would you do differently or additionally?
