Activity Instruction

In this unit’s study activity, you completed and scored your writing assessment and then studied the Writing Center modules available to you. Reflect on what you learned via the assessment and study. Share the results of your assessment and describe your strengths and areas you wish to improve. Develop a plan for fine-tuning your academic writing skills.

• Describe the results of your assessments, including your writing strengths and weaknesses. Share your actual assessment scores.
• Describe how you could use Smarthinking and Turnitin to support your writing. Select three or more additional resources that will help you improve your specific writing skill needs.
• Provide a rationale for your selected resources and describe how they address your writing issues.
• Include APA citations as needed when using outside evidence (including the assessment and the writing center modules).
• Make this a well-developed, 2–3 page document that you attach to your submission.
• Add a title page to all course papers, double space and use Times New Roman, 12-point font on all assignments.
