How it’s your turn! For this project, you will have the opportunity to select a behavior that you wish to change in yourself and design a basic behavior modification program to change this behavior. If you don’t wish to use one of your own behaviors, you may choose one of a book/TV/movie character or family/friend. Your project should address the questions fully and refer to the concepts covered in class. Your primary source of information should be the textbook, but other Internet sources are permitted. Please make sure to use proper APA format when citing sources. For help, refer to the APA Quick Reference on the Course Home Page or to the Kaplan Writing Center. This project should be approximately 2 pages in length, typed in a Word document, double-spaced, with 12 point font. Address the following questions: 1.Discuss the behavior to be changed and write a target behavior definition. 2.Choose the best program of behavior modification for your target behavior. In your discussion, include the rationale for your selection and the underlying theory. 3.Describe the procedures with which you will implement your behavior modification program; for example, shaping, behavior chaining, differential reinforcement, etc In addition, discuss the issues of selecting appropriate and effective reinforcement and/or schedules of reinforcement (if applicable). 4.How will you measure your behavioral change (assess the effectiveness of your program)?
